How to nail the glazed blush trend (plus the most enjoyable products to use)

When it comes to beauty in 2024, the more glossy and gleaming, the better. From glazed donut nails to dolphin skin, frosted make-up and beauty has made a serious comeback amid a wider resurgence of 00s looks. So we’re not surprised that glazed blusher is set to be one of this summer’s hottest new trends. The best news? It’s seriously easy to recreate.

Melding the warmth of a blusher with the dewy iridescence of a highlighter, glazed blush is all about giving your cheeks a radiant, glossy dose of colour. But you don’t need to fork out for two separate products. Thanks to an influx of new blusher-highlighter hybrids, you can get the look with just one sweep. Read on for Stylist’s pick of the best products to use, including sheeny stains, hydrating balms and innovative gel-to-powder formulations.

9 lightweight jackets to wear when the weather can’t make up its mind

It’s 25 April, which means we can’t help but think of our favourite Miss Congeniality quote: “It’s not too hot, not too cold – all you need is a light jacket.” Arguably, though, it is simply too cold in the UK right now. Even though we’re technically well into spring, we’re not feeling anywhere near brave enough to slip on our new-season dresses or ditch long sleeves without the protection of a lightweight layer (at least). And with the weather set to remain unpredictable over the coming weeks, we don’t expect to be shrugging off our jackets for some time.

Luckily, there are plenty of outerwear options on the high street that offer much more than functionality. From floral designs to statement leopard styles, keep reading to discover nine of our favourite lightweight jackets to wear this spring.
